CPI-M was alliance partner of Congress in UPA-I and supported UPA-II Govt from outside till 2014 till Congress led Central Govt was booted out of power by massive mandate across India. Manik Sarkar’s political guru Sitaram Yechury is nothing less than a ‘political brother’ of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, so if Manik Sarkar and State CPI-M wanted, decades back they could have easily influenced Sonia Gandhi to start BG railway expansion to Tripura. | 22-Feb-2016 |
