AGARTALA, Feb 23 (TIWN): Aiming to meet the needs of the people of the State, Bishalgarh bottling plant has been trying to refill as much as LPG cylinders.

Talking to TIWN correspondent on Monday, Official of Food Department stated that the plant is trying to refill as much a LPG cylinder possible.

Though the plant has started its refilling procedure in full-fledged manner yet the production is low compare to earlier.

Besides, he also mentioned that the plant has been trying to refill atleast 20 trucks of LPG cylinder by Monday.

Stressing over the irregularities, he also mentioned that this month the irregularities in the supply of LPG cylinder may continue as the pipe line and the bullet position is not well.

It seems that the hue and cry among the consumers may continue in the State till the pipes and the bullets are renovated.

It is to be mentioned here that few days back due to some issue among the workers but from February 17 the bottling has started in full fledged manner.

Altogether 19 trucks of LPG cylinder have been supplied and by Monday it has increased by one more truck.

However, to meet the need of the State’s public of 12 LPG cylinders in a year a boost is required which can be fulfilled after the establishment of the new gas bottling plant.

Besides, IOC is planning to install an oil depot at Shekerkut. On the other hand, earlier the State Government has demanded to IOC to provide 24 wagons.

On the other hand, despite of the introduction of the modified direct benefit transfer scheme for LPG with an aim to curb down the rampant black marketing of cooking gas, black marketers are yet continuing with their illicit crime.
