AGARTALA, Feb 23 (TIWN): With an aim to prevent deaths or disease from rabies, AMC dog squad on Tuesday has conducted drive to catch the stray dogs in the city.
Reportedly, the dog squad of AMC launched a drive to catch dog with an aim to vaccinate all the stray dogs so that the common mass can stay free from any kinds of diseases from the bites of dogs.
However, the dogs will be taken to R.K Nagar for vaccination. Later, they will be left free so that people are not being harmed.
It is to be mentioned here that it is important to provide vaccine to the stray dogs as they can attack the children or even the adults.
The animals could also spread diseases as the strays rummage through garbage and contract skin diseases.
Besides, the numbers of stray dogs are increasing day by day in the city creating problem for the vehicle to move in the city.
However, this initiative would help the people to get relief from the prolonged chaos made by the stray dogs on the roads.
AMC authority where takes initiatives to control diseases from dogs, on the other hand, allegedly no initiatives are being taken to control the rising mosquitoes in various areas.
With the change of the climate the mosquito population are rising very high and the residence are facing huge problem.
However, the rising population of the mosquito has become threat for the residence of the capital.
