AGARTALA, Feb 24 (TIWN): Even after month’s state government is yet to proceed with the triple murder accused Sushil Chowdhury which was supposed to placed before the SC for further investigation. State government during the last assembly session said that they will file against Sushil Chowdhury in SC but so far no action is taken. The continuous silence over the issue from the end of state government has sparked of suspicion among the common people. It is to be mentioned here that in a question raised by the opposition MLA Asish Kumar Saha, during the winter session of Tripura assembly, Chief minister Manik Sarkar said that the state government is willing to move the case to the Supreme Court but even after passage of couple of days no progress in seen in the matter. With allegations raised by the opposition regarding the misappropriation of judgement against the murder case, MLA Asish Saha raised the issue and under the pressure of the opposition the state government has decided to forward the case in Supreme Court.

With zero updates in the case, it appears that might be it was said for the namesake that the case will be tabled before the Supreme Court. However, time will speak when the state government will file case against Sushil Chowdhury in SC.

Tripura High court has released the Dainik Ganadoot editor-cum-owner Sushil Choudhury  acquitted who was alleged as the sole accused in the murder of three employees on the premises of the Bengali daily in Agartala on May 19.

A HC division bench released Sushil Choudhury who was sentenced to life imprisonment for his involvement in murder of his three employees 14 months ago.

Allegedly, Police failed to put up any appealing evidence against the accused, the prime accused sushil choudhury was released from jail. However, failing to prove any allegation against the accused the court has released him from jail.

The high court division bench of Justice Subhasis Talapatra released Sushil Chowdhury from jail who was sent to life term imprisonment by the lower court.

The loopholes in the police investigation are solely responsible for this and lack of evidence against the accused should be blame.  The line of difference between the judgement of the lower court and high court has successfully managed to release susil acquitted from the jail.

However, state government is yet to file case in SC against the accused sushil Chowdhury.
