Somehow local people and neighbours traced that some unidentified persons entered the house and losing no time , they informed the West Police station. Immediately a team of police rushed to the spot. Before the police could reach , the mysterious(?) robbers(?) fled away. It is to be noted that police has already Sealed Arnab's house and in such a situation it is indeed, surprising that how can some unidentified persons break into the house and that too in broad day light? According to the patients, the state government failed to ensure minimum levels of medical care in GBP hospital. The looting happened on 30th September, the last working day before Durga Puja holiday. To avoid getting trapped the two Gr-D employees drew the money at the eleventh hour of the day. Both the employees , obviously active members of CPI(M)'s Employees' Organ(TGEA), kept Senior Deputy Magistrate P L Chakma in dark about the total incident. An OTPC engineer told TIWN over phone," As of now only Gas Booster Compressor is put into operation. But neither Gas Turbine nor Steam Turbine is operational yet. However, it is expected that by Friday afternoon technicians of BHEL may try to start the Gas or Steam Turbine. Apart from this all other activities of Unit-II are going on."
