KAMALPUR, Oct 11 (TIWN) : Rice of public distribution system is has become filthy with rubbish and wastes like stones, pebbles etc. And this is not the case of one single bag of rice . Nearly half dozen of bags of rice are in the same condition. Naturally, the consumers summarily rejected to cosume such rice. Now the dealer is in utter dilemma as after several knocking the authority is in deep slumber.

The shocking incident to the notion of ‘Golden Tripura’ with the hyped claim of being best and guide in the country came to light today morning in the Indira Nagar Pacs Ltd., Kamalpur. Today, in the ration  shop of the Pacs, when the people declined to accept the rice for poor condition, then the dealer Sujit Saha came to know the matter. Being informed the media persons reached the spot and the consumers clearly declined to have the rice. The dealer Sujit Saha told TIWN, that he had informed the matter to the authoriuty for several times. The consumers rejected to have such  rice and he could not pursue them for the same. Now the dealer is in perplexed condition as what to do. Interestingly, as TIWN reported in recent past about the mis-appropriation of godown and Food authority still remains in slumber. Making the situation worse, the ration dealers  still did not get the rice for APL consumers though the dealers have submitted the Demand Order with money on 28^th September last.
