Mrs Santa Saha murder case: two sons int | AGARTALA, August 20 (TIWN): Almost after 2 days of the incident police finally started interrogating the Son of Santa Saha related to the murder case of 50 year old house wife in her own house at Shymali Bazar quarter complex on Monday.Suspecting the involvement of the family members in the murder of Santa Saha police finally started interrogating the elder son of Santa identified as Dipjoy Saha and Sagar Saha.Although no proper clue is revealed so far from interrogation, still police is carrying out investigation.However, it is to be mentioned here that the daughter-in-law of the deceased, Bijaya Saha alleged that there is an illicit relationship of her husband with some other women and following this a continuous heated conversation happened between the mother and son.It is to be mentioned here that police is so far claiming that the family members are most likely involved behind this murder case as no outsider will have all the detailed information about the timings and directions of Santa’s house.Above all there is dog inside the house which is said to be very sharp and starts barking when sniffs the arrival of any unknown person in the house. But mysteriously after the murder the dog was found tied to a stand inside the house and according to the localites the dog did not even bark for once when the murder took place. SBI ATM Robbery front of AD Nagar Polic | AGARTALA, August 19 (TIWN): A.D Nagar police on Wednesday after a long investigation detained 3 robbers from Churraibari related to the theft case of looting ATM machine from Beltali area under A.D.Nagar police station on Tuesday mid-night.Along with the thieves the ATM machine is also recovered from Churraibari.On yet another mysterious incident, in a daring heist the hi-tech robbers looted one ATM machine of State Bank of India (SBI) on Tuesday night from Agartala Arundhutinagar Beltoli area under A.D.Nagar police station. However, 3 has been detained in connection to the incident, police said.According to the police, the robbers came in van bearing number AS6928 and thronged into the ATM counter. The police claimed that they have been questioning the people around to trace the culprits.The arrested are identified as Shahjahan Ali (23), Ajnor Ali (32), and Ranjan Das (18). Police confirmed that the thieves came from Assam from a van bearing number AS6928.Two others are yet absconding, claimed police.The ATM counter is located just adjacent to the AD Nagar police station and still the robber’s managed to flee with the entire ATM machine.According to the police the incident took place on Tuesday midnight. Robbers loot,fork-out SBI ATM machine in | AGARTALA, August 19 (TIWN): On another daring robbery, one ATM machine of State Bank of India (SBI) was looted of Rs 30 Lakhs, lifted out on Tuesday midnight from Agartala Arundhutinagar Beltoli area. However, no arrest has been in connection to the incident, police said.According to the police the incident took place on Tuesday mid-night right near AD Nagar Police Station. Some unidentified looters managed to lift the ATM machine from Beltoli ATM counter. The ATM belongs to the SBI, said police.Asked about development of the case, police said the AD Nagar police team is currently conducting a raid in and around the area to trace out the ATM machine. CPI-M MLA false affidavit: No headway in | AGARTALA, August 19 (TIWN): Tripura's Election and Police department,reportedly playing hide & seek on the issue of fake affidavit submitted by ruling CPI-M party MLA Keshab Debbarrma. Both department have adopted go slow policy. The election department until and unless gets direction from the Election Commission, they cannot hand over the affadivit to police. Whereas, police claim that the investigation will not proceed further if the affidavit is not handed to police by election department.The court has given 15 days time to submit the report to police, after 45 days also they have failed to submit the report. According to report till date there is no breakthrough in the investigation. A case has been registered against Keshab Debbarma, an MLA of the ruling CPI-M from Golaghati constituency in Tripura, for allegedly submitting false affidavits regarding his educational qualification.One Mithu Pal filed a case against Debbarma in the court of the Sub-divisional Judiacial Magistrate (SDJM), Bishalgarh in West Tripura district on July 4 last alleging that the MLA had furnished false information regarding his educational qualification in the affidavits ahead of the state Assembly polls in 2008 and 2013.The case was registered after hearing yesterday. Tripura to get a taste of express train | AGARTALA, August 19 (TIWN): With Agartala in pipeline to get Country’s broad gauge railway in map by March 2016 the northeastern states of Tripura would get the taste of express train service if everything falls on the right track. The train services from Agartala is scheduled to get pause for the Mega Block work of the railways.Tripura government has been mulling to accelerate the state’s connectivity with the entire northeastern states and rest of the country along with neighbouring Bangladesh.According to the official a total of Rs. 110 crore has been sanctioned to undertake the Mega Block work of the railways in Agartala sector which is expected to kick off from October 1, during this puja.However, once the mega block work is completed, the high speed trains can start operation from this Agartala sector to rest of the country and people of the land-locked state can avail the taste of the express trains, official said.However, in view of starting the mega block work the construction agencies have already started piling construction materials in different stations to undertake mega block (BG) work. As a result, the vehicular movement ceased and people had to cross the place through the flowing rivulet.This morning around 10 am, the Rakhaltali bailey bridge got suddenly being dismantled by the PWD(R&B) authority for renovation. But as the matter was not informed to general public hence the people and vehicles continued to arrive at the bridge on both ends. Besides, today being the market day of Kulai people and businessmen had a natural rush to that market. But the vehicle could not cross that bridge and hence people with their luggage had to cross the place through the rivulet.
