AGARTALA, August 18 (TIWN): 24 hours have passed after the sensational murder case of a 50 year old house wife Santa Saha in her own quarter complex at Shyamali Bazar by some unidentified miscreants on Monday and police is yet clueless about the murder and there is no report of arrest so far.Security of common men is in stake with police failing to maintain the security of the people. It is shameful that the police of this so-called ‘golden era’ have failed to trace any culprit behind the murder of the house wife. When asked about the proceedings of the investigation related to the murder case, OC exclaimed that “We are investigating the case and so far there is no trace about the culprits”.However police is suspecting that there is deep hand of the family members of her daughter in law behind this murder as there was a report of continuous clash of words between Santa and her daughter-in-law.Talking to TIWN correspondent on Tuesday, New Capital Complex (NCC) police station OC said that police is yet clueless about the mysterious murder and they could not trace out any evidence related to the murder. Question arises on the investigation process of the police. Day after day sensational murders are happening in the state and police is busy in long yawning siesta.The slow pace of the investigation shows the failing spirit of the police department and still claiming Tripura to be the safest zone.

The localites stated that Santa’s daughter-in-law left the house a few days back before the murder and even after getting the information her daughter-in-law has not come to visit her in-laws house neither police has called her for interrogation.

It is to be mentioned here that Shyamali bazaar quarter complex is one of the safest zone and a populous area where the top high official of the governments reside.

The incident has triggered question on the role of the police where the hooligans has murdered a 50 year old house wife and after passage of 24 hours police is yet clueless.

Reportedly, the incident took place at 11 in the morning when all the family members of the deceased were out of the house and she was alone at her home. Taking the advantage of the empty house the miscreants and the hooligans thronged into her room and attacked her with sharp weapon. The miscreants attacked her brutally with a sharp weapon and left her dead on the spot.

Multiple injuries from sharp weapon were found in her body and was left dead in her own house.

Getting alarm, the police of New Capital Complex (NCC) police station reached the spot with dog squad and forensic team and started investigation.

However, police is suspecting that a contract killer was hired for murdering Santa and the family members are allegedly involved behind the murder.

She was brutally stabbed with sharp knife and had received grievous in her body, said police.

Although the dog squad could not dig out much information but police is further investigating the case.
