AGARTALA, August 20 (TIWN): Deprived of their salary for past 4 months the cleaning staffs of the AGMC hospital on Wednesday protested in the premises of the hospital demanding to clear their pending salary for last 4 months.
The cleaning staffs are appointed under the Sulabh international unit and for the past 4 months they did not get their salary, alleged the staffs.
Protesting in the premises of the hospital the cleaning staffs took a break in the service and decided not to work for the day.
However, failing to get their salary they also reported the issue to the hospital super but no action is taken so far.
However, the workers on Wednesday said that if their demand is not fulfilled they will further report the issue to CM Manik Sarkar in the coming days.
