Tripura’s security under threat : | AGARTALA, Jan 16 (TIWN): A gun was recovered from Agartala City on Monday, which has created much tension among the common people here. Reportedly, at Cantonment road under Kathaltali, Ramnagar the Gun was recovered by daily workers there. Immediately they informed the Ramnagar Outpost. Ramnagar Police Station informed that following the complain police rushed to the spot and recovered the gun. However, police is yet clueless about the incident, neither there is any urgency to find out the culprit. It’s worthy to mention here that lack of CCTV cameras, lack of enough police force has remained as a threat to the safety of the people here. Just 3 months back in a shocking development 2 round bullets, Phensedyl, chorex and huge amount of drug were recovered from the heart of Agartala City on Oct 27. In total 500 bottles of liquors were recovered. West Tripura Police led by SP Abhijit Saptarshi and Add SP Sharmistha Chakraborty held raid at a house in Masterpara, Agartala where these items were recovered.
