AGARTALA, Jan 15 (TIWN): On the occasion of 69th Army Day, a Mini Marathon was organised at Military Station Agartala by Red Shield Artillery Brigade. Miss Deepa Karmakar the XXVIII Olympic Games finalist flagged off the event.

Mini Marathon was conducted in three categories for Male, Female & Children. Participation from various Schools, Army Units, Assam Riffles and sportsmen from Don Bosco school participated in the event. The Marathon was a great success which encouraged and motivated the youth of Agartala. On completion of the Marathon, Commander Red Shield Artillery Brigade felicitated Miss Deepa Karmakar and her coach Bishweshwar Nandi, with presentation of a Memento. The winners in various categories were presented prizes for their success in the Marathon.
