However, the drivers in next rainy season may not experience such horrifying times as the road has been repaired and there is no problem with that. NorthEast’s infrastructure develo | AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, Jan 12 (TIWN): In a historical bold move, Suresh Prabhu led Railway Ministry speeding up Railway Network’s spread all over NorthEast. Long awaited Udaipur-Agartala passenger railway service to begin its maiden journey on Jan 20th as a part of trial run, NFR informed on Wednesday. Reportedly, the CRS inspection has been completed successfully in that mentioned route, whereas the 44.762 KM section from Agartala to Udaipur will witness the movement of passenger traffic between these two stations with the introduction of two pairs of trial special trains with the effect from 20th January, 2017. While the run will commence with train no. 05683 at 12 PM from Agartala. Massive embezzlement with Central MDM sc | AGARTALA, Jan 12 (TIWN): The Central Government had notified Mid Day Meal rules on Sep 30th, 2015 enlisting various mandatory infrastructure for the state govts. The National Food Security Act, 2013’s provisions related to welfare schemes included that Mid Day Meal Scheme. Food security was an obligatory theme with it, but here under Tripura Education Dept. food safety has become a joke when it comes about Mid-day-meal. The attitude of mid-day-meal cooks and other officials, including the school authorities are like that students are enjoying the Mid-day-meal at free of cost as a part of charity giving to them. Under the food security allowance it has been said if the Mid-Day Meal is not provided in school on any school day due to non-availability of food grains, cooking cost, fuel or absence of cook-cum-helper or any other reason, the State Government shall pay food security allowance. It has been clearly instructed to all the state govts to take care of the quantity of Food grains as per entitlement of the child; and Cooking cost prevailing in the State. Congress staged protest before bank bran | KAMALPUR, Jan 9 (TIWN): As per pre-scheduled program, Congress women wing today led an anti-demonetization move before the United Bank of India branch, here at Kamalpur. The party workers participated in the move in great numbers. Today’s propaganda was initiated by Mahila Congress and Mahila Congress Block President and other women workers participated.
