AGARTALA, Jan 16 (TIWN): Disregarding the order of High Court and Supreme Court, the promotion-spree which has begun across Tripura’s various departments may turn heavy on the State Govt as the next hearing of SC/ ST promotion is on Tuesday. On Tuesday (17th January) the earlier case will be raised at Supreme Court which was filed challenging HC's order in promotion-rules in the 1st stage of Datamohon Jamatia as the Law Secretary. But even before that case could be raised in Supreme Court, there are huge promptness at Departments to promote the officials without publishing the seniority lists. The promptness is so high that one promotion list is getting printed multiple times due to errors in that list.

Source said that before this incident there was no such urgency at Secretariat to promote the officials, but as Supreme Court will accept the case on January 17, so un-following the order of High Court, the State Govt is doing as per its wish.

Apart from that from 33 % DA to Jute Mil employees salaries, everywhere the Govt has ignored the order of High Court.

Apart from that on 9^th April 2015 the High Court passed the order of promotion rules, but it remained without any action. The Govt is so desperate that High Court order also remained out of the corruption-zone.

High Court had already enlisted the guideline how to proceed with promotion policy, although CPI-M govt didn’t like the policy at all and further went to Supreme Court. Supreme Court later brought stay order against HC’s order but suddenly breaking down all the laws CPI-M has indulged again in violating promotion-policy, although in the promotion order it has been said, “…. Subject to final outcome of SPL (C ) No. 19765-19767of 2015 pending in the Supreme Court of India.

But being desperate the Govt is happily running lawlessness across its departments in promotion case.

Presently altogether, altogether SC / ST promotion, 10,323 case, DA case are hanging at Supreme Court, which are the result of continuous corruption held by CPI-M govt in its last 23 years of regime.
