In clarification of accident-rate Nagraj also said, “… the deaths have many causes as reckless driving & giving medical relief in timeâ€. However, Nagraj further said that at Supreme Court also it has been clarified that if a person takes an injured man to hospital for the sake of saving his life the helper will not be come under police investigation. ‘Against his / her will no question will be asked by police’, Nagraj said. Tripura DGP fails to tell the total numb | AGARTALA, Jan 9 (TIWN): India’s most corrupt Director General of Police K.Nagraj against whom CBI chargesheeted in 2005,2007 for amassing crores of wealth beyond known sources of income was handpicked by CM Manik Sarkar to lead State Police. Nagraj’s primary function was to put lids on various crimes, scams involving CPI-M and its top leaders. Massive criticism hit DGP K Nagraj’s prestige after he uttered that a total around 78 chit fund cases are presently under SIT. After 2014, 2015s daring ATM robberies hitting Agartala and other towns across Tripura, State Police failed to protect Bank ATMs, neither succeeded to capture Inter-State robber gangs. Just on Saturday, Tripura DGP K Nagraj said that police cannot be present at every spots, rather the citizens have some responsibilities to the society in crime-reduction, on the same day a State Bank ATM machine was robbed at Agartala’s Chandranpur area, near TATA Company. The State Bank ATM was found miserably broken, whereas any financial loss have not been identified yet. Police is further investigating the case.
