Power-surplus Tripura has started supplying electricity to neighboring states Mizoram and Meghalaya for smooth celebration of Christmas.Tripura’s another gas-based thermal power project of 102 MW targets to generate power by the month of March 2015 by North East Power Corporation (NEEPCO) at Monarchak in Sipahijala district, said Power Minister Manik Dey today talking to TIWN. Dead body of an unidentified woman recov | UDAIPUR, December 22 (TIWN): A dead body of an unidentified woman was recovered today from Shalgarah under Radhakishorepur Police Station. This morning a farmer namely Gouranga Das went to work in field near Gomati Bridge at Shalgarah. All on a sudden he saw a woman floating on the water of the river. Immediately he called others and showed them the body. Soon many people gathered . Local people informed the Radhakishorepur Police Station and Officer In Charge Dipendu Roy rushed to the spot with large police team. At around 12 noon the police rescued the deadbody. OC Dipendu Roy told the press that it seemed that woman was aged 50 and the body is still fresh which indicates that she might fell into the water this morning.
