Students Blocked National Highway in Pro | UDAIPUR, July 19 (TIWN): School students are in protest almost everyday in Tripura being deprived of their basic facilities in Schools. On Tuesday, national highway was blocked by students in Udaipur’s Gokulpur area after they failed to get any response about the situation’s development in school from the authority. The Gokulpur school is reportedly deprived of electricity as well as drinking water for months. Students wrote applications to the headmaster, class teachers but nothing happened. On being asked, a teacher today scolded students and mocked them by asking them to bring AC machines and fans from their houses. Students expressed heavy resentment over the attitudes of the teacher. Guardians also complained about the situation as amid such extreme summer without fans and water, students are becoming sick.
