AGARTALA, July 18 (TIWN): Planned for being 25 years Chief Minister by supressing media the media, opposition and torturing, arresting anyone makes noise against him, sacked Chief Minister Biplab Deb is still existing in his power-hangover’s citadel though, in reality, he is nobody in Tripura politics today except an MLA till 2023 Election without any assurance that he will be the same candidate for BJP from Banamalipur constituency. Biplab Deb during his Chief Ministry massively misused public-taxed Govt funds at unrepairable amounts starting from his family expenditure, CM quarter renovation, gym construction, helicopter ride, and even misuses of Tripura Bhawan and using Govt Doctors for his family member’s treatment in CM quarter which was totally illegal.

However, after his various corruptions and personal records were exposed to Central BJP, he was sacked overnight on 13th May which forced him to resign on 14th May from Tripura CM post. Now Deb has to release both his CM quarter and Delhi quarter which he received after becoming the CM.

The new Chief Minister Manik Saha gained support from the Educated sector especially due to his Vajpayee-like administration attitude by calling an end to political violence and illegal mafia-raj, though he is facing massive obstacles from Biplab Deb’s corrupt gang still active in the various party posts and in cabinet posts.

A Minister had threatened Manik Saha after he met a Congress delegation followed by a violent attack on Congress at Bisramganj.

However, amid such odd situations, Saha has been strict with his policy so far and reshuffled various corrupt faces including former Chief Secretary Kumar Alok.

As per local newspapers’ report claimed, a cold war is going on between Biplab Deb and current CM Manik Saha which is weakening BJP’s organizational strength. Recently, BJP sent Bengal former BJP President Dilip Ghosh to take a ground report from Tripura.
