AGARTALA, July 19 (TIWN): Youth Congress on Monday launched 72 hours of demonstration in Orient Chowmuhani in protest against the ongoing massive unemployment problems in Tripura. The protest continues on Day-2 and will end Thursday morning. Youth Congress State President Rakhu Das informed the media that with 11 points of demand the protest is being held which includes immediate recruitment of TET qualified youths, publication of JRBT results, solving 10323 teachers' issue, to stop Agnipath scheme, and outsourcing recruitment, an investigation by High Court sitting judge in TSR recruitment scam etc. Senior Congress leaders also participated the protest organized by Youth Congress.
Ahead of the protest, Rakhu Das said, “7 lakhs unemployed youths were created under the previous Left Govt and ahead of 2018 poll, a new emerging powerful opposition BJP assured to give 50,000 Govt jobs in a year which was actually a trap to take votes, Many more promises like the house to house jobs, missed call jobs were also given but in reality, Tripura unemployment problem has turned worst”.

On being asked about the Education system, Samir Barman said, “Totally collapsed…. There is no existence of any Govt in that sector”.
