AGARTALA, July 18 (TIWN): A man identified as Jeeban Kumar Jamatia of Kankraban, Shilghati area went to catch fish with other 6 persons in Gomati River and did not return back.

After a long search his body was not recovered, later was informed to Fire Service department. Immediate Fire Service Department’s personnel and rescue team rushed to the spot and recovered Jeeban’s lifeless body from the river after many efforts.

The incident has spread panic in the area among locals.
