‘It was not a Poll, it was Vote-Dacoit | AGARTALA, July 2 (TIWN): Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Saturday lashed out at the BJP over its poll rigging culture and its massive attempts of false voting, threatening voters in the last held by-polls in four constituencies of Tripura on 23rd June. Addressing a party program in Agartala, Manik Sarkar said, “It was not a Vote. It was a robbery of votes. Some people still could cast votes and many could not. So many voters took many attempts to cast votes but could not cast finally. Many voters were injured in their attempt to cast votes. Voters were attacked on votingday's night hours. What was BJP’s attempt from the beginning? It was said told the daily workers that after vote casting BJP will know who has voted for whom and then whether they will get their pending wages or not, it will be decided”.
