'Don't Blame TSECL for GB Hospital Power | AGARTALA, July 23 (TIWN): Day after a massive power cut problem had hit the GB hospital services, which left the Eye Ward Paralyzed for the whole day, State Deputy CM Jishnu Debbarma who is also holding the Power Dept said that yesterday's incident has no link with the TSECL's works. Justice for 10323 Teachers Organization | AGARTALA, July 22 (TIWN): 10323 Teachers who were terminated by the State Govt under Supreme Court's order have not received any termination letter yet but the teachers are jobless for the last 17 months. Various organizations of the 10323 teachers group are organizing protests in various means. One such organization in its social media page shared the Supreme Court's judgement's portion which clearly shows that the Court has said "the service of unchallenged Teachers stands protected". The terminated teachers have asked Tripura Govt to clarify the stand of the Supreme Court. It said, "As per para 127 of High court/supreme Court judgement ,in the recent verdict given by supreme Court in AJOY DEBBARMA case the service of unchallenged Teachers stands protected and state is duty bound for proper & effective implementation of the court order. After the promise 1 year has passed and new death reports are also coming everyday in the second wave but not a single person has received Rs. 10 lakhs. Health System at Jeopardy under Biplab D | AGARTALA, July 20 (TIWN): Referred from Sabroom to Santir Bazar, Santir Bazar to GB hospital, a 24 years old man died allegedly in medical negligence in GB hospital Covid ward but the body was handed-over to the family after his death which proves, he was not a Covid patient, though he had been undergoing lots of Covid tests from Sabroom to Santir Bazar to GB hospital. The exact cause of this young man's death could not be known and also no medical employee gave any reaction to the incident. The deceased Ajay Das (24), resident of Sabroom Sashtri Colony area. His parents were not in position to brief the incident but from the scattered information which could be collected from Ajay Das's parents, he was suffering from fever for two days.
