On May 7, 2020 Tripura CM Biplab Deb announced a compensation amount of Rs 10 lakhs for the family members of those who died fighting COVID-19. After the promise 1 year has passed and new death reports are also coming everyday in the second wave but not a single person has received Rs. 10 lakhs. Among Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb's tall promises, Rs. 10 lakhs to each Covid death victim's families also has resulted in Fake promises amid the death toll has crossed 500 in state. So far no plan has been executed to implement the promise in reality. No Covid deceased's family has gotten any money as compensation. On September 21, 2020, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb had promised the unemployed youths of the state that soon the Govt will recruit ten thousand people and the State Govt has already started preparations for that but after 3.5 years of completion, no such attempt has been taken so far and Govt is trying to recruit employees in contracts or outsourcing basis which although can't give any future to the youths. Amid these few contractual jobs recruitment, corruption allegations are coming as recently the Nursing job aspirants held protests after being deprived of jobs even after having high scores and the less academic grade holders, juniors got the jobs.
