AGARTALA, July 20 (TIWN): DYFI has lashed out at the BJP led State Govt over massive unemployment problems in the state, mentioning that around 23,000 posts were vacated in the state under BJP Govt.
Addressing the media, DYFI State Secretary Nabarun Deb said, "In the last 3 years no Doctors recruitment, no nurse recruitment, no medical staff recruitment is going on. IR Battalion's promise has been forgotten. It has been around 40 months of the Govt but all means of recruitment has been stopped. We have seen that for the last 2 years, the TET examination has been stopped. When we go to the authorities, they say that due to Covid 19 it can not be taken. Across the nation and even in the state all activities are going on but only in case of TET recruitment, all Covid problems start".
"Earlier with the then Home Minister's photo big advertisements were done saying that TSR bn will be formed along with a woman TSR bn but that promise also could not be kept", said Nabarun Deb.
"Amid pandemic no Doctors, Nurses are being recruited. From Group-A to Group-D all recruitments are stopped", he added.
"In the last 3 years, 12,836 Govt employees had gone into retirement but hardly 3,000 persons were recruited and maximum are TET. Moreover, 10323 teachers' posts are vacated. It means around 23,159 posts are vacated", said Nab.
TYF State Secretary Amalendu Debbarma took a dig at the other parties including TIPRA Motha for not talking about unemployment problems.
