AGARTALA, July 21 (TIWN): Three passengers injured in a head-on collision among auto and commander vehicles. The incident took place near Jalefa Bazar on Sabroom-Agartala-8 National Highway under Sabroom PS.

On receiving the accident news, Sabroom Fire Department’s personnel rushed to the spot and rescued the three injured persons from the spot and brought them to Sabroom Sub-Divisional Hospital. As the condition of the three was critical, they were referred from Sabroom Sub-Divisional Hospital to Udaipur Tepania Hospital.

The registered number of the auto is TR08-3493, and according to eyewitnesses, the commander after hitting the auto fled away from the spot.

As per sources the commander vehicles register number identified as TR01-3938 and the police of Sabroom PS went to the spot and started finding out commander vehicle and the owner of the vehicle.

The injured have been identified as Laxmi Tripura Dey(35), Chandan Saha (42), and Tutan Das (28).
