BJP, IPFT Crisis under Biplab Deb's Fail | AGARTALA, July 4 (TIWN): Rattled by the first MLA's resignation from the Party, IPFT has called for urgent Central Committee meeting today at Dasharath Deb Bhawan in Agartala. Reacting over media reports on more MLAs' possible resigns, IPFT Minister Mebar Jamatia said that these reports are false and there is no chance that any other MLA can quit the party. He also added that MLA Brishketu Debbarma's resignation is not yet sure as the speaker has not accepted his resignation letter due to improper mode of submission of the resignation. After a helicopter ride, CM Biplab Deb reached Ganganagar to attend the programme and for his helicopter landing arrangement, Rs. 2 lakhs were expended. However, during speeches he slammed the previous CPI-M Govt for not developing Ganganagar. NCC PS summoned 10323 Teachers in connec | AGARTALA, July 3 (TIWN): "Amra 10323 teachers" organization has lashed out at the BJP led State Govt for attacking 10323 teachers via police and various legal cases amid the families left in tight financial situation. The teachers were summoned by the NCC PS Police in connection to 2020's protest with nonbailable charges. The teachers said that with such steps the Govt can not stop 10323 teachers' protest. Addressing media, a terminated teacher said, "Today we the teachers are bound to stand inside the police station. But for our fates, the people who are responsible are in power. Today many terminated teachers are confessing, how they were used by the BJP to establish in power.
