AGARTALA, July 22 (TIWN): 5 persons were injured in a mafia led attack at the Kumarghat Railway station area.

As per the locals' statement, some anti-social groups held a sudden attack on the local people and in that incident at least 5 persons were injured.

Police have arrested two persons : 1) Govinda Dey and 2) Abhijit Das.

Around 15 persons conducted the attack. Later locals joined together and prepared for a counter-attack. By that time, the mafias had escaped.

The mafias are indulged in FCI godown foods' illegal transportation.
