CM Biplab Deb claimed, 'Modi is Most Fam | AGARTALA, July 1 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb claimed recently that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the most famous leader of the world because he listen to people and fulfills public demands. Now question raises, will PM Modi listen to 10323 teachers who have written a letter to PM Modi ? Their demands are same which BJP party promised to fulfill before the Assembly Election 2018. A terminated teacher among 10323 teachers also had written a letter to the President of India seeking "permission for suicide". BJP before the 2018 Election had promised that once BJP in power the Govt will end the problems of the 10323 teachers permanently but the teachers are now jobless for 16 months but no solution could be given by the State Govt yet. Heavy Rain devastates Tripura Farmers : | AGARTALA / CHARILAM, June 1 (TIWN): Heavy raining since yesterday has caused havoc in various parts of the state. Whereas in cities, the rain has costed people by disrupting normal lives, in villages, crop damage and massive losses of the farmers were reported. In Sepahijala District's various parts lands were submerged with water due to flood like situation erupted there. Houses have gone under water and ponds or other water bodies are overflowing causing massive losses for the farmers. From Govt side, initial food arrangement was done. Asking a local about what help was offered by the Govt, she said, only "Chira" (rice flake) and "Gur" (Jaggery, a local sweet item) were given.
