AGARTALA, July 21 (TIWN): Four persons including the driver sustained critical injuries in a head-on collision between a passenger commander car and an auto near Jalefa Bazar on Sabrum-Agartala National Highway under Sabrum police station.

Reportedly, on Wednesday after noticing the incident the local people informed Fire Brigade. Sabrum fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and rescued three persons from the spot and brought them to Sabrum Sub-Divisional Hospital. The driver of the vehicle absconded from the scene after the vehicle accident. As the condition of the three was critical, they were referred from Sabrum Sub-Divisional Hospital to Gomati District Hospital.
