AGARTALA, Jan 11 (TIWN): Tripura’s Govt. is showing a picturesque sight regarding diminishing crime rate against women across the state. A Bollywood themed incident took place recently when two young girls had a narrow escape from being trafficked to overseas.

Two teenage girls hailing from Siddhi Ashram were  abducted and molested by Teliamura’s  antagonist Mantu Sarkar. This heinous incident took place in residence of Gauranga Biswas in  Chari Para.  The girls  raised loud  cries and chaos  which forced the  culprit to leave them  free.

The girls were found loitering in the streets of Arundhati Nagar in the wee hours of the morning .Local residents passed information to their family members. After reaching home, the girls revealed the incident to their family members.

 Initially Police had a negligible approach towards the case, but with pressure from media, police had  no way but to arrest the culprit.
