KAMALPUR, Jan 12 (TIWN): After the initiative of Durgachowmuhani Agricultural sub-division and Durgachowmuhani Panchayat Samiti power-tillers were distributed among the farmers here at Soumendra Sutradhar Open stage at Manikbhnadar, today. In this program, ten farmers were provided with power-tillers in a subsidized rate.

Agricultural officials informed that, the farmers got a subsidy of 75, 000 rupees per power-tiller. The beneficiaries were Cherag Ali, Sajjad Mia, Biswalakhkha Debbarma, Nripendra Das, Gosthalal Das and others. The program was inaugurated by MLA Anjan Das. The farmers expressed their satisfaction on the initiative of the government.
