AGARTALA, Jan 10 (TIWN): Goebbel’s lie continue even though increasing crime against women, minor girls, early death spiking up in State everyday, but on the occasion of Kishori Utakarsh Manch programme both the Cultural Affairs Minister Bhanulal Saha and Social Welfare Minister Bijita Nath claimed that percentage of girl-education among Tripura girls are more than the other states. In the name of Kishori Utkarsh manch around Rs. 40 lakhs are sanctioned every year, but all the attempts end with a single seminar and inaugurating a candle by Ministers. Never the Social Welfare Minister bothered to visit the rural areas Anganwadi centres, yet she claimed that the girl education is rapidly increasing in state. Being a woman leader, neither she uttered about the increasing crimes in state, nor she said anything about the attackers of minor girls, but she was propagating all the bogus data of ruling Govt.Tripura has become a den for rapists and there would be hardly any day when women are not victimized here either its rape or anyother issue.

Over 8,254 voluntary literacy workers (VLW) have worked tremendously with full dedication under 8,152 adult literacy centres to make the leftover (131,634 people) unlettered people literate," Nath said.

Tripura has achieved the first position in literacy with 94.65 percent, beating Kerala (93.91 percent) and now proceeding with 98 %, she added.

Whereas around 75 % of the registered and unregistered cases are dumped under files without proper investigation, but Nath said Tripura now is very less in crime against women.

However, Tripura Ministers, Police chief all are busy in calculating crimes and to make a lumsum of crime rates.

According to Tripura DGP Nagraj press release, “……….During this year, the total overall registration of crimes against women has come down to 977 cases as against 1221 in 2015 and 1531 cases in 2014.  Cases related to torture upon women by husband or relatives of husband, has come down to 410 cases as against 466 in 2015 and 665 cases in 2014. Dowry death cases have come down to 15 as against 27 in 2015 and 35 cases in 2014. Rape cases have come down to 189 during this year as against 197 in 2015 and 225 in 2014. Molestation cases have come down to 202 as against 323 in 2015 and 437 in 2014. Elopement cases have come down to 10 as against 110 in 2015 but marginally increased as compared to 2015 (93 cases). Under remaining heads, it has come down to 55 cases during this year as against 98 in 2015 and 76 in 2014”. However, during the speech the orators also mentioned about that.

Record said that in last years Sept also 36 lakhs were shown as Kishori Utkarsh Manch’s expenditure, but there was not at all good result out of that mission.
