KAILASHAHAR, Jan 9 (TIWN): Earthquake fear has gripped Tripura students at Kalishahar, as they denied to continue classes in a 50 years old building.
It has been reported that the Ramakrishna Education Center is atleast 50 years old but no regular maintenance is done on that building.
Around 300 students are studying in that school, but presently in every classes, corridors only cracks and cracks are visible.
Although a new building has been inaugurated but the students numbers are greater than the new building’s capacity.
As a result many students have to study under that old building.
However, in last 1 week 5 times earthquake was felt in Tripura which has created huge tension among the students teachers there.
As a result, they denied to continue classes in that building.
The matter has gone to District Magistrate on Monday, when the students came in massive protest for abolishing the old building.
The students there, are ready to do classes in temporary based class rooms also, but nt ready to do class in that 50 years old building.
