CPI-M party members today walked a rally and then gheraoed the police headquarter but DGP did not meet them. Jitendra Choudhury told SDPO Ramesh Yadav that the DGP has to meet the CPI-M leaders for 5 minutes and if he does not meet then Police Headquarter gherao to continue. The deceased teacher has been identified as Modhusudan Debnath resident of Melaghar, Sipahijala Dist. He was suffering from critical illness and due to jobless condition for 20 months, his family could not arrange better medical treatment for him.JMC has condoled his death. In a social media condolence, JMC stated, “We are shocked to learn again the untimely demise of our beloved teacher Lt. Modhusudan Debnath resident of Melaghar, Sipahijala district. It is learned that he had been suffering from physical ailments since long back and were unable to give him better treatment due to job termination and left out of income for 20 months.
