Biplab Deb Runs Crazy in Fear of Trinamo | AGARTALA, Aug 12 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb's insecurity and fear about Trinamool leadership amid Trinamool's rising popularity in the state was exposed again, when Police arrested a driver of Trinamool Congress's vehicle. Ambassa PS SI Subir Saha along with a big police force had arrested car driver Surajit Sutradhar in Agartala at night 2 AM, who drove Debangshu Bhattacharjee's car in Khowai on August 7. Earlier, 5 more Trinamool activists were arrested and without any notice police suddenly arrested them and produced them in the Court. Naturally, the lawyer on the petitioners' part was unready to defend as he was not provided with any copy of the case record in time. They are in Jail custody up to Monday. Today, unemployed nurses, who are working voluntarily under the Govt were arrested forcefully after they gathered to hold a protest. Nursing unemployed youths have strongly criticized police for their arrests amid they are working voluntarily in the Covid crisis. Few unemployed youths broke down in tears after police forcefully arrested them. BJP before the election had promised 50,000 Govt Jobs in permanent posts in 1-Year in Tripura but in the last 3.5 years BJP Govt could not give even 3,000 jobs in regular posts.
