AGARTALA / KOLKATA, Aug 9 (TIWN): Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee massively criticized the BJP leadership over ongoing violence in BJP-ruled states. Reacting over the consistent violence in Tripura and autocracy in other BJP ruled states like Assam, Uttar Pradesh, CM Mamata Banerjee said, "BJP in their own states don't not allow anyone to speak. I would request the people of Tripura to come forward unitedly against the undemocratic Govt. I know the condition of Tripura. Nobody can speak a word against the Govt there. From Journalists to Bank employees, everyone has been silenced by the BJP. BJP, which is the most undemocratic in rule often they comment about the Bengal situation. This is nothing but "CHORER MAYER BORO GOLA" means the thief's mother's tall claims. Trinamool MPs also protested at the Parliament premises against the violence conducted on the opposition in Tripura.
The political turmoil erupted after Biplab Deb Govt arrested I-PAC team members in Tripura and Trinamool activists who were in Tripura were also severely beaten up, arrested illegally.
Mamata Banerjee accused Home Minister Amit Shah of being behind the attack incident. She further challenged that Trinamool will win Bengal and also people will give them the befitting reply of the violence.
