AGARTALA / KOLKATA, Aug 9 (TIWN): Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has alleged that Union Home Minister Amit Shah is behind all attacks which were conducted in Tripura on Trinamool activists in last few days. Addressing the press, Mamata Banerjee said, "I think, Biplab Deb would not be too much desperate to order such attacks on the Trinamool activists and General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee so brutally. The way police cases had been lodged against Trinamool activist, Abhishek Banerjee's vehicle was attacked, it is suspected that it was directed by Union Home Minister. Our student leaders were attacked, injured, cars were vandalized, stone pelting was organized by the BJP".

"But it's quite surprising, the all violence took place in front of police and for 36 hours no treatment was given to the injured persons. Then instead of arresting the culprits, police have arrested the victims", said Mamata Banerjee. 

Banerjee has called Tripura BJP Govt a "Monstrous Govt".
