AGARTALA, Aug 9 (TIWN): After attacking multiple medias in Tripura, illegally blocking various websites of Tripurainfoway.com and shutting down many TV channels, newspapers, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb even after getting tight-slaps from Courts has not come out of his dirty political strategies yet. After Trinamool Congress's mini teams I-PAC and Youth Leaders had defeated the Biplab Deb Govt in the Court who were illegally detained by Tripura Police out of political pressure, cable operations were disrupted in state and PB24 which is the only TV channel in Tripura has maintained a visual and journalism quality as per national TV channels' standards was shutdown. It has been known that such cable disruptions of targeted TV channels are not new in the state but for a short period in similar manner, many channels were shut down. It was first alleged by Bengal Minister Bratya Basu yesterday (when he was in Khowai Court) that many TV Channels were shut down in Tripura since Abhishek Bnaerjee arrived in the state and it was known late at night that the PB24 is not visible on TV. This channel did not broadcast any anti-Govt news yesterday but due to its high reach and popularity among the masses, Trinamool Congress's programmes were easily accessed to the masses and as a punishment of being an independent media Biplab Deb with advise of his Bootlicker journalists directed the cable operator to shutdown the PB24 TV channel.
