AGARTALA, Aug 11 (TIWN): Entire Health Department in Tripura is reeling under miserable state. Tripura’s biggest hospital, GB, is also in the same track.
Since Past 3 months ‘Ayushman counter’ in GB Hospital has been closed, resulting Patient parties remain without getting services.
'Ayushman Bharat National Health Protection Scheme (NHPS)’ aims to provide free access to health care for low income earners in the country.
A patient party who falls under this scheme returned home with huge resentment noticing shut down of ‘Ayushman counter’ in GB Hospital.
He said, he came 2 days to take free medicine from GB’s ‘Ayushman counter’ but he found the counter is close. Later he purchased necessary medicine from outside with high rate at Rs 2000.
Sources said, the employees working at ‘Ayushman counter’ kept the counter closed for many days as they were unpaid for three long months.
