Non-political movements raising in Tripu | AGARTALA, April 17 (TIWN): Not Aam Admi, also not 'Mango People', but Tripura common people have emerged as a new party and raising voice all independently after it was ruled by Communist Party since 24 years. The people also experienced a bitter Jut-Era (Congress Era) in 90's era and earlier in 70's era, but resulted in clash and bloodshed that forced the common people to rely upon CPI-M as they had 'no option' at all. However, the beginning of CPI-M Era had kicked off with fresh movements but with the passage of time instead of exposing of various scams, public never felicitate the Congress Era to come back. Even Trinamool also failed to keep the attention of public forlong as the same people were ruling Congress had constituted Trinamool. In this condition, a study on public's view ahead of Assembly Election revealed that people want a better govt, less corrupted and an immediate change. Neither they care for political rallies, nor they have any fear to fight back, which resulted in total 156 cases pending against Tripura Govt at SC and more than thousands in High Court; some more to be added in the list soon. | 17-Apr-2017 |

BJP’s high profile celebrity visi | AGARTALA, April 17 (TIWN): BJP’s central leadership focusing on capturing Northeast after riding on the Modi wave and PM’s ‘Act-East’ policy but many State’s local leaderships are failing to live upto the expectations of Central leaders. BJP’s major success story in NE was Assam due to dynamic leadership of PM Modi, Amit Shah combined with frontal attacks on Gogoi’s Congress by State Unit’s SarbananadaSonowal. In Tripura’s case, there no one matching even 25% of SarbanandaSonowal’s attacking spirit on CPI-M, as Biplab Deb led BJP remained focused on hiring celebrities, high profile Ministers in Tripura rather than building organized political attack on CPI-M at grass root level. State BJP failed to capitalize Supreme Court’s March 29 historic verdict cancelling Manik Sarkar led CPI-M Govt’s 10323 teachers recruitment corruption. Biplab Deb’s political immaturity and closeness with Manik Sarkar coterie could be one of reasons behind this mystery. Demonetization was an excellent and wise step taken by Prime Minister Modi, but CPI-M in Tripura and TMC at West Bengal had shaken the whole country and made the people to believe stories of 70 people died in demonetization, but what BJP as the Tripura’s strongest opposition has done so far after the biggest ever scam of 10,323 teachers' recruitment revealed just one year ahead of Assembly Election?
