AGARTALA, April 17 (TIWN): Total 6 Chess boxer of State Tripura have shined at West Bengal Chess boxing meet. They achieved 3 Gold,2 Silver & 1 Bronze Medal.

1st Amateur World Chessboxing Championship -2017, which was held at 11th to 15th April,kolkata,India. 

1.Sunita Sarkar (Cadet Girls -60 kg Category) Gold Medal.

2. Simantini Das(Cadet Girls -65 kg Category) Gold Medal.

3.Biplab Goswami (Jr. Boyes -58Kg Category) Gold Medal.

4..Pritam Chakraborty (Jr. Boyes -43Kg Category) Silver Medal.

5..Tanmoy Debbarma (Jr. Boyes -52Kg Category) Silver Medal.

6.Sujit Das. (Jr. Boyes -46Kg Category) Gold Medal.

On April 8, Tripura Chess Boxing talents went to participate a national meet at Kolkata.

In this regard, the sports-stars met Tripura Sports Minister Sahid Choudshury at his residence at Agartala on Saturday.
