AGARTALA, July 24 (TIWN): To ensure total observation of the ongoing Weekend Curfew, administrative drive took place in Agartala on Saturday.

Action has been taken against Curfew violators. Additional SDM Binjoy Bushan Das along with other officials entered various shopping complexes which were kept open amid Curfew. 

On the other side, police also continues vigilance throughout the state. For a sudden spike in Covid-19 this Weekend Curfew was necessitated.

However, last week amid Weekend Curfew, BJP youth leader had organized thousands of people's gathering, DJ, parade in Santir Bazar but till now no action could be taken against that marriage organizers. In the same way, ruling BJP is violating Curfew everyday but police and administration only take action when it is common men or opposition party.
