AGARTALA, July 25 (TIWN): On a terrible note, two persons were critically injured in a accident between a bike and an ONGC 18-wheeler on Sunday. The incident took place on national highway adjacent to a brick kiln under Bishramganj police station.

Reportedly, on Sunday afternoon an ONGC 18-wheeler hit a bike bearing no TR01D1815, carrying two persons near a brick kiln in Bishramganj area. Both the persons fell from bike and sustained critical injuries. The injured persons are identified as Bhupen Jamatia (24) and Sukhen Jamatia (21).

 The local people rushed to the place and informed the fire brigade. Fire brigade came and took both of them to Bishramganj primary health care center. There the doctors declared Sukhen Jamatia dead. And Bhupen Jamatia is sent to Tripura Medical College (TMC), Hapania for better treatment as his condition was very critical.

Police said that the deceased Suken Jamatia's body will be handed over to family after autopsy. Police also arrested the driver of ONGC 18 wheeler.

 This incident left everyone of brick kiln area in shock.
