AGARTALA, July 25 (TIWN): Housewife was forcefully aborted four times by in-laws against her wish, also attempted to kill several times. Victim housewife after filing case deprived from getting justice, incident Bishalgarh.
According to the details, it is known. In 2009, Susmita Chowdhury, daughter of Mukles Rahman of Charalilam Araliya got married socially with Litan Miah, S/o- Lt. Farid Miah of Mohanpur area. It was alleged after few years of marriage her mother- in-law, Ayesha Khatun and her sister-in-law, Sujata Begum and husband started torturing her physically and mentally, which later increased after she gave birth to her second daughter. Also she was subsequently forced to abort four times illegally and tried to kill her several times allegedly.
Due to the unbearable torture, a village meeting was held in April 2020 and in the meeting it was decided to pay Rs 20,000 monthly to Susmita but the words remains in words not in action, she did not receive a single penny. Surviving Sushmita is residing in a rented house in Gazaria, Agartala with her two daughters in misery with dark future.
Besides, Sushmita's husband Liton Miah got involved in an illicit affair with Jasmine Akhter of Putia, who works in Udaipur block. She also alleged due to an employee under Police Department her husband is getting freed from punishment.
Hoping for a trial the housewife given notice to SP office, SDPO office, SDM office against the criminal husband but the victim did not get trial yet, later with a hope of Justice the victim housewife filed a case in the Family Court.
