Massive violence sponsored by BJP ahead of Panchayat By-Election has left at least 5 Police Officials injured, under treatment at Hapania hospital on Tuesday followed by a bloody-violence launched by BJP at Dukli Block against opposition Congress on the last date of nomination submission. Police used tear gas, lathi charged to control the violence instigated by BJP at Dukli block which has left also 7 to 8 BJP activists injured. The incident took place after Congress leaders led by Congress President Birjit Sinha went to submit nominations at Dukli block. While entering the office in a maruti car, BJP activists backed by MLA Ram Prasad Pal, leader Rajib Bhattacharjee's supports stopped the Congress activists on spot asking them to "go back". When Congress denied, the BJP activists came heavily after them, but police led by SDPO Ajay Kumar Das controlled the situation. Bharat Bandh : Tripura Left Parties back | AGARTALA, Sep 9 (TIWN): Amid ruling BJP Govt's strict warning against Congress called 12 hours strike in Tripura on Monday, as a part of national level agitation, Left Parties and Congress have geared up to observe strike to voice against massive fuel price hike under Modi Govt. But when state was waiting for 7th Pay Commission, increase in wages, regularization, employment BJP Govt started its Jumla-sterns by stopping job recruitment followed by cancellations of ongoing all recruitment and removal of Pension-facility for new Govt employees. In last 6 months 46 times petrol price was hiked, whereas 52 times diesel price was increased and now petrol price is close to Rs. 80 per litre. On the other side, the State Govt employees are far from getting 7th Pay Commission, whereas July month's DA is yet pending. Whether Govt will give the DA to employees or not, nothing has been said in this regard. Over 800 contractual employees were terminated including poor mid-day-meal workers.
