AGARTALA, Sep 9 (TIWN): With a jump of 9 paisa more than Saturday, the fuel price under BJP govt has gone at Rs. 78.91.

Since last few months the petrol, diesel prices are continuously raising amid various protests by the oppositions.

The rupee has also moved lower against the dollar, which has made petrol prices in Agartala more expensive than before.

In Tripura instead of reducing excise duties, taxes have been increased again and again in last 6 months.

A local daily newspaper has reported, in last 6 months 46 times petrol price was hiked, whereas 52 times diesel price was increased.
