AGARTALA, Sep 10 (TIWN): With a jump of 26 paisa more than Sunday, the fuel price under BJP govt has gone at Rs. 79.17.

Since last few months the petrol, diesel prices are continuously raising amid various protests by the oppositions.

The rupee has also moved lower against the dollar, which has made petrol prices in Agartala more expensive than before.

In Tripura instead of reducing excise duties, taxes have been increased again and again in last 6 months.

On the other side, continuing its slide, the Indian rupee touched another fresh low of 72.35 on Monday, weakening by 62 paise from its previous close of 71.73 per US dollar.
