AGARTALA, Sep 11 (TIWN): As maximum candidates of CPI-M couldn't submit nominations, CPI-M has asked Election Commission to conduct the whole submission procedure again with proper security.

"Since the day of notification was circulated, violence of BJP started statewide. First the violence started with Bamutia block when BJP had attacked upon opposition during all party meeting in the BDO Office", said CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar.

"Then at Durga Chowmuhani block, in an open attack in CPI-M's vehicle all the nomination papers were snatched. In Kathalia block instead of 2 people 17-18 people forcefully entered in the block and gheraoed the oppositions by saying no election will be held, no nomination will be taken", he said.

"In Kakrabon block, the nomination papers which were collected by candidates were snatched by BJP going house to house. At Belonia, CPI-M leaders were not allowed to go in meetings. At Jualibari woman candidate was returned back home not allowing submission of nominations. Mohonbhog block was totally blocked and opposition couldn't enter at there", Bijan Dhar told media.

"Nalchar, Salema, Rajnagar blocks conditions were also same", he added further referring Boxonagar's yesterday's violence and Darmanagr, Yubarajnagar blocks.

Bijan Dhar also mocked Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath for his claim about "Shu-Swashan" (Good Governance) in 6 moths.

Another Communist top leader Gautam Das hit BJP for forcing businessmen to open shutters of shops on the 'Hartal' (strike) day, claiming in CPI-M's long regime such incident never happened.

"It's totally up to the people who will observe strike, who will not", Gautam Das added.
