Health Dept reveals Report Card of 6 months

AGARTALA, Sep 9 (TIWN): Health Dept is first to submit report card on 183 days of BJP Govt in Tripura.

In a press conference, Health Minister Sudip Barman has submitted his Dept's performance report before media. 

The report card is however vast. According to Health Dept's version, the highlighted achievements are :

1) Free Medicine for indoor patients across state's hospitals,

2) Order has been given by Health Dept for Generic Medicine prescription by hospitals' doctors,

3) A Standard System protocol has been built and each hospital now has to follow it,

4) GB hospital's ICU has been introduced with free medical treatment since month of April, 2018 and soon IGM will get that facility,

5) Prescription audit started,

6) Water ATM has been started at GB, IGM, Cancer hospital,

7) Central Laboratory construction work at GB hospital has been completed and at Central Blood Bank's upper portion this facility will be soon launched,

8) Canteen building work at GB hospital will kick off soon,

9) On the second Saturday of each month at AGMC, GB hospital Surgical Camp, Ultrasonography, CT scan, MRI, Echocardiography started, which has fasten the health service,

10)  Urology & Plastic surgery unit is under process at GB hospital, which will be inaugurated on Sep 19, 2018,

11) Thalassemia patients at IGM hospital are getting special diet and in child ward for children's entertainment items will be purchased,

12) NCC led under construction blood bank shifting work is almost ended,

13) Tripura Sundari hospital to get blood collection centre,

14) Notifications were given on 28th August to open CARDIOTHORACIC AND VASCULAR SURGERY (CTVS) & Interventional radiology units at AGMC,

15) At GB hospital CCTV camera, bio-metric attendance system have been launched to check the ongoing of the doctors,

16) Emergency ward has been developed and 24 hours PG doctor stay present, 

17 ) E-hospital service has been launched at GB hospital,

18) From afternoon 4.30 pm to 10 pm  special doctors to be in duty in the GB hospital,

19) Echocardiogram Machine has been launched in IGM already,

20) Time to time meetings are going on across Districts for developing health service in each place etc.

Barman also presented more points in the report card and further disclosed Dept's plans and programmes to uplift health service in coming days.
