Near Extinct Bostami Turtles habitat wai | UDAIPUR, May 21(TIWN) : Getting a seemingly suitable habitat in the artificial hatcheries on the east bank, the rare N-Nigricans turtles, found in the Kalyan Sagar of Tripureswari Temple of Udaipur , one of the 51 pithas and probably the main tourist destination of Tripura, Turtles started behaving as if they have found their natural habitat once again after the embankments were bulldozed partially. Job Issue : Law Secretary in Delhi to a | AGARTALA, May 21 (TIWN): A State Government team headed by Law Secretary DM Jamatia today reached Delhi to file a special leave petitions before the Supreme Court challenging the High Court of Tripura’s verdict- terminating 10,323 teachers from the service.On May 7, the High Court terminated 10,323 teachers following separate writ petitions after a long hearing. Power crisis worsened in Tripura : PGT i | UDAIPUR, May 20 (TIWN): Power crisis situation across the state has worsened as the scheduled activities in the build up to the OTPC's 726.6MW Combined Cycle Gas Turbine(CCGT) Thermal Power Plant in Palatana's 1st Unit Performance Guarantee Test(PGT) has been further delayed , said a high level TIWN source in OTPC on Tuesday night. OTPC's 1st unit(363.3MW is having 'Complete Shutdown' ahead of PGT since 17th May midnight and was scheduled to be operational from the midnight of 20th May but our source categorily said that the preparation period is unlikely to be completed before the midnight of 27th May as the BHEL engineers detected some major problems in various important equipments that demands urgent attention to be sorted out before the actual commencement of PGT,adds TIWN source. | 21-May-2014 |

As of now, the backlog of LPG cylinders stood at 40 days, which was around 30 days before the strike and this is because of the disruption in supply of bullets. After the withdrawn of strike, bullets have stated coming from Bongaigoan, Numaligarh and Guwahati refinery plants to boost the supply of refilled LPG cylinders.
