AGARTALA, May 21 (TIWN): The Pradesh Congress Committee today observed the 23rd death anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

Main programme was organized in front of Congress Bhavan here. While MLA Gopal Roy hoisted the national flag, PCC president DC Hrangkhawl unfurled the party flag.

Sushanta Chowdhury, Shantanu Paul and Subrata Roy unfurled the flags of Youth Congress, NSUI and Seva Dal. CLP leader Sudip Roy Barman, PCC working president Asish Kumar Saha, PCC secretary Dipak Majumder, Mahila Congress leader Kalyani Roy and party leaders like Sushil Ranjan Chowdhury and Panna Deb were remained present in the programme.
